I am a designer by trade and it amazes me that some big wig at Fisher-Price said to themselves "that's good enough" and pushed something like this into production. To me that says only one thing, they make it just good enough to sell and appease the shareholders and could care less about making a quality product that is fun for both the child and the parent. It is a toy after all isn't it?
The two previous toy manufacturers which produced the Thomas line did care about producing a quality product, but Fisher Price just wants your hard earned money.
